Dimensions Critical reflection 

Part 1:- 

 

My profile contains 12 dimensions. Each dimension has a meaning. Method of investing for growth means the way of increasing the investment. To increase any investment, you need to develop the system of work. To achieve this goal, you need to develop people first because people themselves who will develop the system. Some people are only looking at the development of systems. They didn't contribute in this development but we need qualified people who are able to develop any system. Extent of relationships means you didn't need to have many relationships. Every day you meet people and you can make relationships with them such as your friend in your workplace or your neighbour near your home. Some people extend their relationships from being only friend to be social relationships but some people feel uncomfortable when they do something like that. Outlook on success means looking to the future.   If you want to success, you need to look for the potential of the future not the past experiences.

 

 View of destiny means fate. Some people think that everything happens to them is controlled by destiny. That's true but they must work hard and take part in decision- making processes. Contextual behaviour means the way of your action. How to deal people and what you should wear. Some people like to be formal and others informal. Limits in connecting with others means didn't interfere in other business. Each one must make a limit to people to avoid their interference in his personal situation. Ability to express emotions means express what you're feeling toward anybody. Some people able to express their feeling and others can't express their feeling.  

 

How decisions are made means take the right decisions with the right person. The relationship with people sometimes affect on our decisions. Priorities in planning mean your scheduled priorities. When you are busy, you prefer some people to others. Method of communication means the way of dealing with people. There are two method, direct and indirect methods. Direct method is better than indirect method. Accountability to others means you didn't live alone. You are surrounded by family, company and people. View of status means project, task and service related achievements. You can't judge any person who you can't be in his position.

 

 

Part 2:- 

What I learned from my CMI questionnaires results As far I agree or not for my CMI result . I had agreed with some of them and disagree with the others . I learned how to deal with other people and how to communicate with them . Also I learnt that there are many type of people that I should know how to act with them . 

 

 

Part 3 :  

The most important thing is I know myself much better and I'know my personality well . 

Its show on my result that im more directive than directed because I feel what's right and what's wrong but also there are many thing that I have to change in myself and im sure in few years I will change it .In my opinion or as I think after five years many thing on my CMI result will change and I will be able to be more direct with people in the community . And its should be more direct as what is the situational not how I feel . 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Exercise 6

 

1- communication /direct /when he said drugs are disuse and the only good addiction is love .

 

 

 2- expression /Reveal / when he said my lifestyle is consequence of my wounds.

 

 

 3- accountability /individual / he sacrifice for other because he thinks it’s his duty as president.

4-  accountability/community/ when he said we can't live alone four our lives to be possible we depend on society .

 

 

 5- accountability /community / because he talks about help and support.

 

 

6-  context / informal /when he said no one more than anyone else.

 

 

 7- growth /personal / when he said the most important investment we can make in human resources .

 

8- expression /Reveal / because he expressing his sad feeling’s.

 

 

 9- outlook/tradition/ because he talks about the divorce and manners and how they dressed on the past.

 

 

 10- connecting /exclusive /when he said we think as people and countries, not as species.

 

 

 11- destiny/directive/when he say that we born for consume only and their future on the god’s hand .

Exercise 7 :-
 There are 3 dimensions and 3 polarity's that are available in this article :

1- (Outlook) polarity (innovation) because they want to  develop the future of UAE . 2- (Decision-Making)  polarity (rule) because its show's the type of suggestion that people have to choose who's going to be a prime minister .  3- (Growth)  polarity (people)  because they want to develop and improve  the people, not other things .

World Views Exercise #2-B

My world view in my opinion Honor and shame are the most important thing an as I see most of the people are in fight for their Honor . there are many people also killing them selfes or steeling because of a silly things. Honor and guilty in general.

Emirati women and workforce in a clash of culture

What is the conflict?

Emirati families are inhibiting their daughters &their wife's from working in a mixed environment. The reasons for this are our old traditions and religion’s are versus the idea of woman working with the men's in the same environment .

What is the cultural view behind the conflict ? 
 

the main cause of this issues was the emirates families were scare of broke the Islamic roles and the traditions in the same time , to them it an issue of Honor, shame, and they must follow the tradition. This kind of families think’s that if one of there family woman worked in a mixed environment she will infect the family name with shame.      
Who is involved ?
 
the one who will be judging the women from working in a mixed environment such as the father or the brothers or the husband .
 

What is the best solution to solve this phenomenon ?
in my opinion the best solution is to let the women work in any environment to develop her self .

 

My worldview :

Our worldview concentrate on three main things, Power& fear, Guilt& innocent, Honor & shame. In my opinion of the view  the most influenced thing in my world view are Honor & shame, because  there are families  who afraid of doing any effect on their tradition. The second thing are Guilt & innocent, there are many family's that feel guilty for letting their daughter to work or study in a mixed environment. The last point is power/fear, in general its depends on the person if he/she want to make a change in her life and develop her self to me more powerful in the future     

Exercise #1

Is bullfighting cultural acceptable? OR should we as traveller's to help make changes in traditions??
 
 
 in my opinion bullfighting are not acceptable because it's so risky. i have seen in the news several cases of injuries and death of many participants who took a part of the bullfighting. I don't really think that it worth it.
It is impossible from us as travellers to avoid participating in those vents.
